in 2018, Jonny applied his animation knowledge to a micro-short called ‘Robin’s Rocket’. The film went on to play at numerous festivals including a screening at BFI Southbank at the 60-Second International Film Festival, and was even aired on television as part of ‘the short film show’ hosted by british screen actor dominic brunt.  Despite only being 40 seconds long, the micro-short led to a string of interesting commissions. These include the award-winning concept film ‘Fifi the Fairy Princess’ with US comic book writer John Zakour (Rugrats, The Simpsons), ‘DRAWING ON EXPERIENCE’ with British photojournalist David Lewis-Hodgson, and the award-winning short ‘The Call of Night’ with Brazilian poet Henrique Costa. of recent, jonny has also directed/produced a 2D animation project for new york agency tugboat and a cgi pre-roll commercial for procter & gamble’s tide brand.
